We’re currently looking for a Accounting Senior Team Leader to join our team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist the accounting leader with managing a portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Develop positive and professional relationships with clients. Act as the point of contact for client inquiries, concerns and feedback, demonstrating responsiveness and attentiveness to their needs.
• Supervision and coaching of the team.
• Review of deliverables to clients, including management accounts, accountancy files for audits, VAT returns and payroll runs.
• Planning of client portfolio, prioritisation and delegation to the rest of the team.
• Encourage open communication, collaboration and teamwork among team members.
• Contributing towards business development of the department and firm, through writing of articles, delivery of CPE sessions and attending conferences.
• Assist the accounting leader with department budgets, monthly billings, and monitoring of team utilisation rates and client profitability.

 What you’ll bring to the role:

• Fully qualified accountant.
• Minimum of 3 years of local experience in a similar role.
• Sound knowledge of relevant VAT and payroll legislation.
• Applicants must have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams is essential.
• Proficiency in standard office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) is required.
• Applicants must have excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
