We’re currently looking for an Internal Audit Senior to join our team.

Purpose of the Role:

To execute internal audits with a primary focus on AML and Compliance domains for MFSA or MGA supervised entities in Malta. This role involves client-facing activities, audit execution, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and directives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform internal audits on AML and compliance frameworks.
• Engage directly with clients during audit processes.
• Prepare audit reports and document findings accurately.
• Support the development of recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with AML Directive, local regulatory requirements, and IIA Standards.
• Utilize AI-based tools to enhance audit efficiency.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Familiarity or previous experience using Scoro.
• Microsoft 365 (Proficiency required; Copilot is an asset)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in internal auditing, AML, or compliance.
• Experience with MFSA or MGA supervised entities in Malta is essential.
• CIA certification is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of AML Directive and compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with digital collaboration tools.
• Timely and accurate completion of audits.
• Quality and clarity of audit reports.
• Client satisfaction and effective communication.
• Compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Adherence to AML Directive, MFSA/MGA guidelines, and IIA Standards
