We’re currently looking for a Risk Senior to join our team.
Purpose of the Role:
To manage and monitor risk for MFSA-supervised entities, ensuring robust risk controls and contributing to the enhancement of both internal and client risk environments. The role involves ongoing risk monitoring, assessment of risk controls, and proactive recommendations for improvement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of risk frameworks and controls.
- Assess effectiveness of risk management processes and recommend enhancements.
- Collaborate with clients to strengthen their risk environment.
- Prepare risk reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Familiarity or previous experience using Scoro.
- Microsoft 365 (Proficiency required; Copilot is an asset)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in risk management or related functions.
- Experience with MFSA-supervised entities is essential.
- Risk-related certifications (e.g., FRM, CRMA) are an asset, but practical experience is prioritized.
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with digital collaboration tools.
- Timely completion of risk assessments and monitoring activities.
- Quality and accuracy of risk reports.
- Contribution to improved risk controls internally and for clients.
- Compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adherence to MFSA guidelines and recognized risk management frameworks.
